Life Drawings

Relocating In August

Bold Cupcake is relocating in August to Sarasota, FL to attend Ringling College of Art and Design.

Needless to say, I'm extremely excited! I'll be busy packing but expect to see work popping up every now and again.

Concept art for a project.

I have a deep respect for the art of pole dancing. I really think it is an impressive form of dancing that requires the individual to be in amazing shape both physically and mentally.

In that light, it was only a matter of time before I decided to draw/sketch/paint a pole dancer. These are two sketches of my ideas for a larger project (now nearly complete) that I liked and decided to share.

Both are graphite and color pencil on sketch paper.

Figure Drawings and Hands and Feet

All of these were done in my newest sketch pad that I received for Christmas. All if it is done in graphite pencil.

Welcome to the New Bold Cupcake!

Hello and welcome back! I hope you are all enjoying the new and improved Bold Cupcake. I think it is much better this way.

As promised, I have new photos of my most recent work. I am posting them as soon as I am done with this post.

(I will get a cupcake floating around here somewhere but until I have time, Bold Cupcake will lack in cupcakes.)
